baihe_mediaI think Sharp Downpour (暴锋雨) might be relevant to folks' interests.
It's a police procedural minidrama set around 2010 that follows detectives Lu Yi and Lin Shen as they investigate a number of cases. They're also separately looking into a cold case they have personal connections to.
Lu Yi and Lin Shen get off on the wrong foot when the first meet, but become close over the course of the minidrama (imho their interactions become increasingly shippy toward the second half of the season). The cases are gruesome, but generally more by implication than what's on screen.
It does end on a cliffhanger (more so than The Unseen's) and I'm not sure how likely a second season is.
There's 20 episodes that are ~15 minutes long. It's available on WeTV.
