I think Duet of Shadows and The Unseen might be relevant to folks' interests!
双姝美探 | Duet of Shadows (2026):

Set in the 1920s in Shanghai's French Concession, this drama follows detective Lin Lan and forensic doctor Qin Xin (and their collegues) as they investigate five mysteries.
imho there's some subtext between Lin Lan and Qin Xin (they eventually move in together), although the drama's main focus in on the cases. I found the cases engaging and liked how interested the drama is in gender. Also Li Yuan is magnificent as Yun Feiyan in the first case.
There's 31 episodes that are ~19 minutes long. It's available on iQIYI (albeit with AI subtitles).
暗处 | The Unseen (2026):

This takes place in the present day in a fictional Southeast Asian country (all the characters are speaking Mandarin, but signs and document text look like they're written in either Lao or Thai script) and follows blogger Shen Man as she teams up with detective Jiang Li to investigate a murder that appears linked to Shen Man's sister's suicide.
This focuses a bunch on Jiang Li and Shen Man's relationship and leans into the subtext (among other things, there's a 'there's only one bed' moment partway through the season). This is less of a procedural as the cases they investigate are connected.
There's 24 episodes that are ~20 minutes long. It's available on WeTV.
(the cases in both tend to be dark - let me know if you would like a heads up about them)
