Pre-orders have opened for the mainland (simplified Chinese; censored) print edition of contemporary romance The Southern Woods (南城青林, pinyin: nancheng qing lin), originally serialised online as Sweet as Honey (如蜜似糖, pinyin: ru mi si tang) by Tao Jiu De Jiaohuazi (讨酒的叫花子). The novel begins with automotive designer He Qingrou having a one-night stand with a woman she encounters at a bar. In the best tradition of such novels, He Qingrou runs into the same woman again at the office. The woman's name is Lin Nai, and she is, as it turns out, He Qingrou's new boss.
