Just caught up with the latest chapters (the problem with daily updates, I am finding, is that if you miss a day or two it's a lot. On the other hand if you miss a day or two you are treated to a feast compared to individual days' snacks, so it all balances out I suppose) and I'll wait for the posts to comment in more detail but these last few were a DELIGHT of weaponisation and quiet whump/revealed-hidden-pain and I was already delighted, but then the end of chapter 13 comes in with the messenger bird and A-Yao…You’ve grown up so much. And yet you’re still so foolish. and I lost my entire mind. Murder board time! There is not enough red string for this! I was unprepared!!
